Deep in the bamboo forest, a home away from home

Nestled deep within a bamboo grove, a home away from home. Designed by Xie Ke, Yixing Chunsan Zaiwang Resort Hotel boasts 70 acres of mountain forests and tea gardens, along with 17 guest rooms.

Nature is the highest form of romanticism

Yixing, formerly known as Yangxian, where grace and strength coexist. Nurtured by nature, it fosters a singular cultural terroir. Embracing the hills, deep within the bamboo groves, Resun Hotel is built as a home away from home. Arrive as a returning guest, peaceful and at ease. Founded in 2024, Chunsan Zaiwang aspires to create a cultural brand that invites travelers to discover ‘where the heart finds peace.’ Rooted in local traditions and heritage, it seamlessly blends contemporary perspectives and lifestyles to deliver an extraordinary travel experience.

Minimalist wabi-sabi architecture in dialogue with 70 mu of woodland

White walls, dark bricks, and timber frame lines follow the hillside contours. South-facing skylights illuminate the inner courtyards while low-framed windows frame bamboo groves, earning the Silver Award for Spatial Lighting Design at the 2024 Jingqilin Design Awards.

Facing undulating tea terraces, the Tea Room is open year-round for house guests. Brew authentic Yangxian Snow Sprout tea in master-crafted Yixing Zisha teapots, watching daylight play across tea rows while time gently slows.

The Resun Gallery showcases the founders' personal collection of artisanal Yixing Zisha teapots, studio pottery, and contemporary art. It regularly hosts tea aesthetics salons and craft workshops, connecting guests with millennia of pottery culture.

Groundwork & Architectural Vision

Land acquired in 2016; master designer Xie Ke commissioned to embark on an eight-year architectural journey.

2024

Grand Opening & Multiple Accolades

Officially opened in March 2024 with 17 rooms and 150 dining seats; named "Small & Beautiful Boutique Hotel" in the 9th Black Truffle Resort Guide, featured on Ctrip's 2024 Design Hotel Ranking, and awarded the Jingqilin Silver Award for Spatial Lighting Design.
